Question about sizing..
A while ago I bought this JSK directly from JM but it turned out that it's too big for me because the size that was listed on the website was wrong, as a result I don't really trust their sizing anymore.. So I'm wondering, what is usually the size of their long sleeved and cutsew OPs? For example this one or this one. Are they usually bigger or smaller or the same size as JSKs?

Oh no- I'm sorry to hear that the sizing was too big for you. Compared to other brands, JM tends to run larger...
May I ask what part of the musical instruments JSK was too big for you? I have the same JSK but the bust area is too big for me. I still wear it but I think I should find a seamstress to make that part fit better...

What area are you concerned in terms of sizing for the cutsew OPs? Usually the cutsew material clings to the body better so I believe that it shouldn't have the same size problem as the JSK. It is the same size as their t-shirts. So I guess the size is smaller...

The bust is way too big for me, but the waist size and length are a bit too much as well. I was wondering if the OPs are just smaller in general because I'm a bit afraid to buy them now :s thank you for your reply! <3

This size has the measurement for the library cutsew piece: http://beverlyjane.jugem.jp/?eid=1146
I know the bust is listed as 86cm, but it's a closed neckline as opposed to the open one in the JSK so I think it should be okay. Like this dress is 90cm but because it's more closed on top I would consider to buy it despite having a much smaller bust: http://beverlyjane.jugem.jp/?eid=1157

Would you mind to give your measurements? (^^; I think if your waist is small enough, the skirts would be a better choice as they are making shorter lengths than before.

It really depends on the design, but next time if you're unsure about something, especially new releases, just drop a note here. :-) Good luck. XD

Oh, thank you for that website! n_n my bust is 77cm; waist: 65.5cm.
I think you're right that skirts is probably a better choice, it's just a pity though because the JSK style is usually so cute ^^; Then again the skirt is cheaper haha...
Thank you for all your help!

Yeah, I have an 84cm bust and already the JSK is kind of large on me - you must've been swimming in that dress. ;_; Yeah, skirts are the best bet especially those that aren't wrap skirts.

With your size though I think you would look great in MILK though. Their dresses are cut rather small and probably would be perfect for you!

I don't really keep up with MILK releases but now that I know this I think I might pay more attention to the brand! ^-^

I find that the older JM pieces are much larger than the newer releases, so perhaps trying a newer JSK might not be so bad? My JM Royal LIbrary JSK is much smaller in the bust than my british library and royal stamp. The musical instruments release is a bit older so maybe it was just when they were cutting things larger?

I'm sorry for my late reply--I didn't see your comment until now =_= Thanks for your advice! I think maybe if I wear a knit sweater underneath with the newer releases it might be okay, but for now it's probably saver to go with skirts ^-^
